Objectives:
- Explore information on the use of the current edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders
- Review general DSM Changes
- Identify changes in diagnostic criteria/categories
- Identify predisposing, precipitating, perpetuating and protective factors for disorders
- Discuss how those factors and the symptoms of the disorder impact treatment
