Many of the courses at AllCEUs are applicable to psychiatric nurses. We are an approved Florida Nursing provider and most other states accept our ceus for nurses as well.
Several of our staff have worked in residential community mental health, and recognize the importance of nurses. Many times they are saddled with acting as the liaison between the client and the other treatment staff. (Our docs never came to case staffings). As such, not only do they have to have the medical knowledge, but they also have to be counselors in their own right. All CEUs provides nurses training mainly with regard to the counseling aspects of their jobs.
Many of our trainings (ex. client centered care, assisting families through life transitions) are based on the best practices issued by the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario. We also have most of the Treatment Improvement Protocols from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) (Detoxification, Opiate Treatment, Buprenorphine and more)
