The Geriatric Mental Health Professional Training helps clinicians understand and address the  normal changes and specialized needs of older adults from a Functional Behavioral Health standpoint.  

Students will learn how changes in all PIECES of an individual's life impact their well-being in all PIECES of life and strategies to empower people to age well.

Students will also explore common physical and chronic conditions in older adults that can contribute to confusion, cognitive decline, agitation, irritability, falls and misdiagnosis of dementia.
