- Identify the most common types of medication assisted therapies including methadone, suboxone and vivitrol.
- Discuss the utility and appropriateness of medication assisted therapy
- Examine the potential interactions between methadone and alcohol or other MAT and common mental health medications (SSRIs, Benzodiazepines etc)
- Review the prevalence of co-occurring disorders among persons in opioid treatment programs
