Marriage and Family Therapists
Accepted AllCEUs Approvals: 12 AAC 19.320 (b) (5) cross-disciplinary courses, seminars, or workshops in the fields of medicine, law, behavioral sciences, ethics, or other disciplines;(6) courses, seminars, or workshops in substance abuse, domestic violence, cross-cultural issues, gender issues, or child abuse
Required Hours: 45
Limits to Online: 50% can be asynchronous courses. Live webinars count toward the regular required hours.
Mental Health Counselors
Accepted AllCEUs Approvals: NAADAC
Required Hours: 40
Limits to Online: 20 hours but AllCEUs live webinars count as live hours
Social Workers
Accepted AllCEUs Approvals: 12 AAC 18.220 (6) cross-disciplinary courses, seminars, or workshops in the fields of medicine, law, behavioral sciences, or other disciplines. AllCEUs is approved by the Florida Board of Social Work.
Required Hours: 45 hours biennially
Limits to Online: None apparent.
Psychologists
Accepted AllCEUs Approvals: 12 AAC 60.300. APPROVED NONACADEMIC CONTINUING EDUCATION PROGRAMS. (a) Repealed
8/20/2004. (b) Nonacademic continuing education programs under this section must be provided by sponsoring organizations approved by the American Psychological Association or another professional organization representing mental or behavioral health professions.
12 AAC 60.290 To be accepted by the board, the subject of a continuing education program must contribute directly to the professional competency of a person licensed to practice as a psychologist or a psychological associate and must be directly related to the concepts of psychological principles, ethics, or practices as defined in AS 08.86.230(6).
AllCEUs is approved by NAADAC as well as multiple state boards of Social Work.
Required Hours: 20/ year
For a licensing period that begins on or after July 1, 2013, a psychologist or psychological associate may obtain continuing education credit by means of live interactive nonacademic continuing education programs presented over the Internet by sponsoring organizations that are approved as described in this section, if attendance is verified.
Limits to Online: 50% asynchronous learning
