Addiction Professionals

PreLICENSURE education must be through a university

Continuing Education

TCBAP  HHS/LADC

Addiction Counselor, Recovery and Prevention Specialists

TCB will also accept education hours
from an accredited college or university, or IC&RC member board approved providers

Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselors

Accepts training from NAADAC approved providers

 

 

Marriage and Family Therapists

Accepted Approvals:

Licensees must obtain at least fifty percent of their continuing education hours from one or more of the following providers:
(1) an international, national, regional, state, or local association of medical, mental, or behavioral health professionals;
(3) city, county, state, or federal governmental entities
(8) any provider approved or endorsed by a provider listed herein

Required Hours:

30 each biennium.  Ethics, cultural diversity, telehealth, supervision
